Honorable mention in the XIII Post-graduation simposium IAG/USP (Sep. 2021)
Here I presented a summary of my thesis (It's on portuguese).
Postdoctoral research associate at University of São Paulo.
I'm a Postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics, and Atmospheric Science at the University of São Paulo. My research focused on air quality modeling using WRF-Chem and in air quality data analysis. I obtained my PhD in Meteorology from University of São Paulo in 2020 under the supervision of Maria de Fátima Andrade. For my PhD research project, I worked with CAM-Chem data, and simulations with the WRF-Chem model and the MUNICH street-canyon model to simulate air quality over the Metropolitan Area of São Paulo at different scales. In 2015, I finished my master in Meteorology, where I studied the impact of chemical boundary conditions on the represation of Ozone over Southeast Brazil. From 2005 to 2009, I was and undergraduate student of Environmental engineering at Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. During my academic career, I became proficient in computer programming, using languages like R and Python regularly. I also became a believer in open research.
Here I presented a summary of my thesis (It's on portuguese).
I did an introdution to open source tools for research to the students of Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (Lima, Peru).\ We talked about R, Python, Git, Latex, etc (It's in Spanish).
I gave a talk about how air quality models works in the XI Meteorology simposium organized by the meteorology undergrad students\ from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (It's in Spanish).
